1. call somebody names; to use impolite or unpleasant words to describe someone.

   What's the matter with you? Tell me why you're so upset.

   Somebody told me Jane is calling me names. 제인이 내 욕을 하고 다닌다고 누군가가 말해 주더군.

 

2. stand tall; to show that you are proud and able to deal with anything.

   I failed my driver's test again.

   Hey, that's not a big deal. You've got to stand tall.(기죽지마)

 

3. give somebody a break; to stop criticizing or behaving in an unpleasant way to someone.

   I think he is still getting adjusted to the office.(적응하다)

   Give him a break. It's only his third day on the job.

 

4. jack-of-all-trades; someone who can do several different jobs instead of specializing in one.(만물박사)

   He can do plumbing and roofing.(수도공사 / 지붕공사) He's a real jack-of-all-trades.

 

5. be expecting; be pregnant

   I'm expecting a baby.
