1. make a splash 세상을 깜짝 놀라게 하다; to do something that attracts attention.

2. spring for 값을 대신 지불하다; to pay for another's expenses, to treat.

   You have to spring for the entire meal.

 

3. tough cookie 늠름한(강인한) 사람; a person who can endure physical or mental hardship;

   a hardened, strong-willed person.

   She is a real tough cookie.

 

4. fancy another. (또 하나의, 다른 것을) 원하다; to have a wish for; desire

   This cheesecake is delicious.

   I just baked it. Fancy another?(하나 더 먹을래?)

 

5. stock up(on/with something) ~을 많이 사 놓아두다; to buy a large quantity of something.

   Did you hear the blizzard is coming? 눈보라

   Yes, I'm planning to stock up on water and food.
