My tutor makes a lot of tongue-in-cheek remarks, so I always amused.(항상 흥미진진해)
3. play it by ear. 내키는 대로 하다; to do something spontaneously without planning.

4. spill the beans. 비밀을 누설하다; to reveal something, especially something secret.
He was planning surprise her. but someone spilled the beans.
What a shame! That was supposed to have been a surprise. 안 됐다.
5. bend over backwards. 열심히 하려고 노력하고 있다;
to try hard to please someone.
I bend over backwards whenever I see my mother-in-law, she treats me very well.
